 Recommendations:

On average, cacti are replanted every two years. Older specimens less frequently (3-5a). The best time for this is early spring, it can also be planted in summer until the beginning of autumn.

The loose part of the old soil is removed around the roots. A layer of drainage (light gravel) and a layer of fresh soil are placed on the bottom of the pot. Now the plant is placed in a pot and new soil is added to the edges and onto the soil ball. On very old cacti, only the surface part of the soil ball can be replaced.

After planting, it is recommended to water the cacti and succulents only after 2-3 days so that any root damage can dry out. For slow-growing cactus plants, the nutrients in the pot are long enough.
