RECOMMENDATIONS:

Plants can be replanted at any time, but spring is the best time to do so. Herbaceous and fast-growing houseplants must be replanted every year at a young age. Older plants need to be planted less often. Depending on the growth rate of the plant, the new pot must be slightly larger than the previous one. Using clay pots, pre-soak them in water. A drainage layer (pot shale, light gravel) is placed on the bottom of the new pot to allow excess water to drain away. A little new soil is placed on the drainage layer, then the plant with the old soil ball is adjusted to a suitable height in the middle of the pot. The space between the soil ball and the pot is filled with new soil. The pot is left 1-2 cm unfilled on top. After planting, the plant should be thoroughly watered and protected from direct sunlight. To prevent drying, it is recommended to cover the soil surface with a layer of light gravel. The compost used in the soil preparation of Matogard OÜ binds nutrients and does not allow them to be washed out of the soil with irrigation water. The normal growth and development of the plant is ensured for at least 3 months without additional fertilization, for 6 months in plants with slower growth.
