Sowing seeds Fill the seed drill with soil, compact it, sow the seed and cover with a thin layer of soil, sand or perlite. Keep the soil surface moist. As planting soil when used, it is suitable for growing the plant from the young plant until the end of the crop's load-bearing capacity. You can put a drainage layer (light gravel) on the bottom of the planting pot. There must be openings in the bottom of the planting bowl to allow excess water to drain away. Vegetable soil is placed on the drainage layer, then the plant is adjusted to the correct height and the soil surface is compacted. After planting, the plant should be thoroughly watered and protected from direct sunlight. In the production of Matogard OÜ BIO vegetable soil, compost, organic fertilizers and humic preparations are used, which prevent the leaching of nutrients from the soil with irrigation water. There is no need for additional fertilization during the growing season for herbs and other vegetables with a shorter growing season. For vegetables with longer and more intensive growth (tomato, cucumber, etc.) it is recommended to make additional fertilization during the period of fruit formation and ripening.
