1. Clean the weld with a wire brush, then clean the surface with cleaning aerosol UTI000556. Spray the cleaner on the weld, wait approx. 30 seconds and wipe the surface dry with a cloth or paper towel. 2. Spray red penetrant UTI000553 on the surface. Wait 3-5 minutes. If the temperature is lower than 12 degrees, the time must be longer, if higher than 45 degrees, then shorter. Clean the surface with a penetrant cloth or paper cloth, the cloth can be gently moistened 3. Spraying revealed (white) UTI000555 on the surface. It is recommended to spray 2-3 thin layers, the surface must remain slightly moist. If too thick a layer is applied, the penetrant can cover the developer and the cracks will not be visible. You have to wait up to 5 minutes. Red lines indicate cracks, red dots indicate fine cracks, and dots indicate pores. -
