Description

User manual
When using IronMax Pro, personal protective equipment – gloves and clothing – must be worn. The granules can be spread manually or with a mechanical spreader. Control should be started before the pests are present in large numbers or have already damaged the plants. The granules must not remain on the leaves, flowers or other parts of the plant – they must be distributed on the soil surface where slugs and snails move.

Ironmax Pro is suitable for the protection of a variety of crops: vegetables (beets, carrots, cabbage, peas, beans, onions, garlic), leafy vegetables and herbs (lettuce, spinach, basil, parsley), greenhouse crops (tomato, cucumber, pepper, melon, watermelon), cereals, oil crops, as well as lawns and pastures.

The application period lasts from 7 days before planting or sowing until harvest. The maximum consumption rate per application is 7 kg/ha (or 70 g/100 m²). There must be at least 5 days between applications, if the granules are eaten or new pests appear. Up to 28 kg/ha (280 g/100 m²) can be used per crop per year.

For best results, the granules should be spread on the prepared soil before the plants emerge. Slugs that have consumed the bait will burrow underground and die due to the action of the iron(III) phosphate – therefore the control effect may not be immediately visible. The effectiveness of the product against the Spanish tea snail (Arion lusitanicus) has not been proven.

NB! Always read the product label before use, follow all legal requirements, safety and waste management instructions. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
