Thermopads floor heating mats are designed for heating floors indoors.
They are suitable for use both in new heating systems (mix layer less than 20mm) and for renovating existing floors by installing the heating mat directly on the existing ceramic floor tiles on the old floor.

The heating mat consists of a fiberglass mat on which a special floor heating cable is placed. Depending on the density of the cable ties, the heating power of the mats per square meter differs (100w/m², 150w/m² and 200w/m²).
The floor heating cable consists of a heating element covered with fluoropolymer (FP) and a PVC protective layer surrounding it, in which the shielding is located. The mat has a 3-meter long "cold" cable part for connection, which does not heat and which remains between the thermostat and the heating mat.
At the junction of the wall and the floor, the "cold" cable part must be located in the protective pipe to allow the wall and the floor to move between each other. If there are expansion joints in the floor, the heating mat must never cross the expansion joint.
If possible, we also recommend installing this cold cable part in the protective throat in the walls.
If necessary, the cold cable part can be shortened/extended if it facilitates installation and electrical connections. The heating part of the heating cable must not be cut or damaged, nor can two heating mats be connected to each other. One heating mat may only be placed in one room.
More than one heating mat can be installed in one room if they are controlled together. The heating mat must always be connected to the mains through the heating thermostat, direct connection to the mains is not allowed.
