CROMAROD® 310 is a rutile coated electrode designed primarily for welding 25% Cr / 20% Ni, fully austenitic stainless steels used to provide corrosion and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures.

CROMAROD® 310 can also be used to join steels that are difficult to weld, such as armored plates and ferritic stainless steels, as well as various steels. Although the weld metal is completely austenitic, the composition is carefully balanced to ensure good resistance to hot cracking.
